Thanks for visiting the blog today, it shows that you have an interest in either joining the BIBLE READING CHALLENGE or just hearing what this guy has to say!

Ok! Here’s what I have to say:

On January 1, this year (2019) the Lord inspired me to share this beautiful opportunity with everyone who was interested in finishing the Bible.


Here is an excerpt of that message:

“A new year with marvelous opportunities has just begun. As this year kicks off today… I challenge you to join me in finishing the 66 books of the Bible in 3 years. Even though I’ve finished reading the Bible 8 times, I still feel like a learner whenever I am reading the Bible. Starting from January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2021. The anchor text is found in Philippians 3:10, and it says: “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death”
So, that was how the Bible Reading Challenge stared, and waoh! How time flies, today is day 64 already. Although we are still going on a long journey, I can tell you that the Lord has enabled us to finish the books of John, Revelation, and Proverbs.


You might be wondering, how are we going to do this, in 3 years?

Ok, let me explain things better. 😁


Here is out it goes: We’d be reading a chapter of the Bible daily except for Sundays (93 Sundays out of all the Sundays in the 3 years), when we’d be reading 2 chapters of the Bible. I or someone else would be posting the chapter of the Bible we would read daily or weekly as the case may be on the WhatsApp platform created for this purpose. In summary, we’d be spending 1096 days in reading the Bible.

We’d also be having a Daily Prayer time, which I’d call our Daily Prayer Call!

This is how it’d go daily.

Daily Prayer Call @ 10 -10:10pm
📍 Pray for the 1096 days Bible Reading Program
📍 Pray for all the members participating in this program.
📍 Pray that God would exalt His name in the world.
📍 Pray that Gospel would speed ahead and be honored.
