COATS OF SKINS

Genesis 3:21 “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them”
Do you know what a coat of skin is?
I bless the Lord the day He used a writer to open my eyes to the deep revelation in that verse.
Adam and Eve had disobeyed God, hence, they made an apron for covering out of fig leaves and then they ran into hiding immediately they heard God’s footsteps.
Eventually, when God found out what had made them run into hiding, He was disappointed. Yet, He saw that they were in need of a better provision as they were about to leave the promised garden. God decided in His infinite mercy to make a better wear for them.
God made “coat of skins”, imagine what a pullover made with a leather skin would look like even under the rain. The leather pullover will not allow rain to drench the person putting it on, as it would someone wearing a silk material. The leather pullover will likewise shield someone from cold or cool breeze. Do you understand what that means? Once you have your protector (I mean the leather pullover), then you can travel to anywhere and anytime.
God made COATS with SKINS! Do you notice that both coat and skin are in plural form, meaning God looked into the future and made them many coats that will serve them for a very long time.
“… and clothed them” God made coats that would cloth them, not just for fashion but clothes that will serve them and be useful to them come rain, come sunshine.
If God can do that for the people that disobeyed Him and are on the verge of leaving the beautiful garden, how much more will he do for us; His children? We are the redeemed of the Lord, hence, He has great provision for us than can meet the eyes.
Dear single sister/brother, I guess you have never journeyed through this path, if true, why not trust everything into His care for He will surely take care of you. On the other hand, if you had made a mistake in the past, why not let the past remain in the past and focus your present on God and watch Him make ‘coat with skin’ for you, I mean He will give you your better half.
The one that will be your partner, playmate, heartbeat, soulmate, helpmeet, sweetheart, heartthrob, gist partner e.t.c. Are you not falling in love with him/her already? Yes I am already falling in love because I am sure God will give me His best, I trust Him completely that He will lead me to my missing rib. I’m very sure of what He will do for me, why then should I choose by sight?
My dear, there is nothing sweeter than trusting in God. By the time God finishes making your skin coat, I tell you it will seem as if you are dreaming.
Psalm 27:14 “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
Don’t be in a haste to choose ‘fig leaves’ for yourself when you can allow God to make ‘skin coat’ for you. I mean do not be in a haste to choose your life partner by yourself, you know why? Because you can not see beyond your nose, so allow that God that sees into your future to conveniently choose for you and I tell you that you will never regret this decision.
My brother and sister, kindly allow God to choose your life partner for you because He has never made a mistake. Trust Him and you will never be ashamed.
Little wonder He said in “Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”.
Pray and ask Him for directions concerning your marital life which you know not and He gladly reveal great and mighty things about your marital life to you.
NOTE: While waiting, do well to find your purpose, then and only then can you know the true definition of happiness. A purposeless life is like a moving vehicle without a driver. Therefore, a purposeless life is a life without directions.
Find Purpose before you find your Partner
