FIND YOUR SCRIPTURE

Naomi Osemedua said something to me last month that has stuck forever in my heart, and do you know what she  said?

“FIND YOUR SCRIPTURE!”

FIND YOUR SCRIPTURES

Beloved, I welcome you to a new month, see ehn! This is your best month ever!

If there is anything God taught me last month, it is this “FIND YOUR SCRIPTURE”

Beloved, as you enter this month, I want you to find your scripture, and run with it!

What do I mean by find your scripture?

Simply put, find that verse or verses that speak to you personally, and confess them into your life every single day that you wake up.

Never forget the power of the scriptures – it brings light to every darkness in your heart!

Worship God as we sing this song together, before we find our scriptures and launch into our scriptural affirmations!

It is a beautiful piece by Ada Ehi, and it is titled “I Overcame”. In this new month, you have overcome!

Welcome back, and before you leave, let’s declare our scriptures.

See ehn! I tell you the truth; this is my personal scriptures, so take this as my happy new month gift to you.

Guess where it is found… lol, in the book of one of the old prophets like that!

And this is it – Isaiah 61

KNOW YOUR SCRIPTURES
THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me;

Because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;

He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives,

And the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,

And the day of vengeance of our God;

To comfort all that mourn;

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,

to give unto them beauty for ashes,

the oil of joy for mourning,

the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

that they might be called trees of righteousness,

the planting of the LORD,

that he might be glorified.

And they shall build the old wastes,

they shall raise up the former desolations,

and they shall repair the waste cities,

the desolations of many generations.

And strangers shall stand and feed my flocks,

and the sons of the alien shall be my ploughmen and my vinedressers.

But I shall be named the Priest of the LORD:

Men shall call me the Minister of my God:

I shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,

And in their glory shall I boast myself.

For my shame I shall have double; and for confusion I shall rejoice in my portion:

Therefore in their land I shall possess the double:

Everlasting joy shall be unto me.

For I the LORD love judgment,

I hate robbery for burnt offering;

And I will direct your work in truth,

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

And my seed shall be known among the Gentiles,

And my offspring among the people:

All that see them shall acknowledge them,

that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD,

My soul shall be joyful in my God;

For He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,

He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,

As a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,

And as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud,

And as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth;

So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

So this is me wishing you a happy new month!

  1. I haven’t got a scripture (s) for this month. But Psalm 23 has been my scripture since my last birthday. I get a scripture to hold on to when I start a new year (birthday) and it has really been working for me.

    Thanks for this and the song too sir. Hallelujah, I overcame because He lives.
