Liverpool Barca ’19

You will never walk alone!

I watched today’s game (highlights though…), and seriously, I was thrilled!

I never expected Liverpool to win in this manner…

In case you didn’t watch the match, Liverpool made record by winning Barcelona the great 4-0…

Liverpool produced one of the greatest comebacks in Champions League history to beat Barcelona 4-0 on Tuesday, overturning a three-goal first-leg deficit and advancing to the final with a 4-3 aggregate victory.

Let me make you laugh a little, see what I screenshot from a friends WhatsApp status… 😂

I know some of my friends would be surprised to see me blog about football, yes, I actually watch football! (Although I’ve never watched a 90 minute game yet since 2009 I guess, I just stick with highlights and online commentaries 😂)

Thinking about the match, I learnt that even in the moment of greatest loss, Don’t Give Up!

Now back to you, enjoy the pictures I saw on some of my friends status also…

When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm, there’s a golden sky
And the sweet, silver song of a lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone

Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone

I love the lyrics of this wonderful theme song of Liverpool. Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you will never walk alone!

If you are a Christian (A Christian is not just a church goer, but one who has been set free from sin, and has peace with God), I want you to know that you will never walk alone. With Christ, there are no lonely moments. But, if you are not yet in Christ, you can do that now. Just say after me:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, but I confess my sins right now (mention them one by one…), and ask that you forgive me. I repent and accept You as my Lord and saviour. Thank you Lord for answering my prayers, in Jesus’ name I pray!

Congratulations if you have said that prayer, and sincerely accepted Jesus as your Lord and saviour.

Welcome to the family of the redeemed!

I want you to know that there is great joy now in heaven over you than over 99 saints, who do not need repentance.

Now, that you have given your life to Christ, I strongly encourage you to read your Bible and pray daily, also join a Bible – Believing Church!

The Lord bless you!

I love to hear from you, what did you gain from watching this match? Please share with me in the comments section below.

Howdy, before you leave, please share this post. There is love in sharing.

I love you!

  1. Love this line particularly
    – Though your dreams be tossed and blown walk on walk on. For a Christian, truly we are never alone and when all hope seem to fade, we can rest assured that He has said He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us and He will always ensure all things work together for our good as we love Him and walk according to the calling to which he has called us

    1. Yes ooo, we are never alone!

Even when hope seems to fade, we can seriously be rest assured that He has said HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US!

And definitely, all things are working for our good, because it’s intentional!

Thanks so much for stopping by bro

  2. “Walk on through the wind
    Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown…”

Chai! I’ll definitely keep walking, not depending on my own tiny abilities because they will fail at some point, but will stay committed to Christ in me, My hope of glory; that I may reach the expected end, and put the adversary to shame.

Thanks so much for sharing, bro!
    God bless you🤗

    1. Yes please …

      Keep on walking!

And stay committed to Christ in you, for He indeed is your hope of glory!

He that is in you is stronger than whatever is without!

      You’re most welcome…

      Amen!

      Thanks for stopping by…

I’m sure I’d see more of you here. 😍😘
