A popular saying goes thus “A river that is connected to its source can never get dry”.
Let me tell you a little about myself so you can know how to help me.
My name is EyinjuOluwa. I was given the name by my parents as the only child. I attended a Bible believing church with my parents where I gave my life to Christ at the age of 8.
Giving my life to Christ was a new experience for me as the Lord took me to different dimensions of the Spirit. It was no wonder to my parents when I began to speak in tongues at an early age of 15.
As a Chorister, lives were always saved each time I handled the microphone.
Oh! Did I forget to tell you? 2 blind men and a lame man was healed under my ministration.
I used to be a threat to the devil and his kingdom. I used to do exploits for my Father’s kingdom. At a point I didn’t need to say a word before the Holy Spirit started to do wonders in our midst.
In fact, I became the most sought after female music minister in my church fold at age 22. It wasn’t long before I started travelling in between states to minister. Even after 2 years, I still did wonders for God.
But, something is missing… I can’t seem to place my hands on! I feel like my time of exploits is up…
Please help me!!! I now find it strange to worship alone in my chamber…
The problem now is – the devil is now a threat to me.
I am not the same person I used to be. I feel dry and I don’t know what is happening to me anymore. I feel disconnected. Please help me!!!

Are you in Eyinju’s shoes or do you know someone who is?
Listen!!!
A river that is connected to its source can never get dry. Yes! Such river cannot get dry.
Are you connected to your source?
You are the river that is to flow out of abundance while your source is God. The moment you get disconnected from your source, you start to get dry.
The source will always remain but we tend to disconnect ourselves from the source.
Yes! You have flushed out all the evil junk in your life but have you made yourself hospitable for Him to dwell therein?
Yes! You are free from the devil’s antics but let me ask you? Are you empty?
It’s not possible to sit on the fence at this point. I tell you, it is very risky!!! Your life is in danger, your family if in danger. Even, your eternal home is in danger too.
A very big issue we face nowadays is how stay connected in spite of every form distraction around us. Apostle Paul described this perfectly in 1 John 2:16-17 when he said:
For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
1 John 2:16 NIV.
You are either for the world or against the world.
Do you remember what made the wise virgins wise?
“…ten young virgins who took oil lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom. Five were silly and five were smart. The silly virgins took lamps, but no extra oil. The smart virgins took jars of oil to feed their lamps… .
Matthew 25:1-5 MSG
Simply put, the oil stands for the spirit of God. So, if your oil is finished, don’t be too ashamed to admit it so you can be refilled.
Never, ever let your oil get finished.
Take heed!!!
